  • I am an Earth stellium - nature and plants are my besties, and I grow a great deal of the products I use. I offer individual herbalism consultations, as well as herbal ally classes, workshops, and popups. Creating tea and smoke blends — s well as tinctures, oxymels, and infusions — is my jam.

I’m Dee (she/her). I also go by minxy! I’m a digital storyteller, event curator, herbalist, Black culture devotee, womanist, unabashed nerd, and founder of Sunny Dee Productions.

I’m also:
A goofy pansexual relationship anarchist. Kinky. Spiritual. Polymath, avid reader, huge Trekkie. Passionate about tea, foxes, sexual freedom, and conscious decision making. Into Afro-futurism and slice of life animes. I love comparing unique perspectives and talking about the art of surrender.

I’ve spent 15+ years in various event organizing and program management positions — in corporate, government, the arts scene, and several alternative communities. I’ve been practicing herbalism and kink for just as long, with formal education in both beginning in 2016. I believe in using all my training and skills to generate a holistic approach to fostering community and freedom.

The mission of Sunny Dee is to facilitate connecting Black people to safe, affirming spaces to learn more about their heritage, explore themselves and their interests, and cultivate community – all things I feel are necessary in order to process our collective hurt, help each other heal, and move towards our full liberation.
